WHAT IS THE WAR?
The War was started back in 2000 and is hosted every year around April and May. This is the ULTIMATE TEEN COMPETITION. Teens, 6th-12th grade, are split into two teams for a three day competition. The two teams are ARMY and NAVY. Each team will battle it out with field games, trivia, captain challenges and more! Food is provided every night for the teens free of charge. We also sell t-shirts ($15) for both teams every night. There is no charge for this event, as we want everyone to come!
As much fun as all the games and hanging out with your friends is, the main reason we do this is to reach teens with the gospel. At the end of every night we bring in a guest speaker that will give a short challenge and share the gospel with everyone who attends. Our main goal in hosting this event is to Further His Kingdom and reach out to our community. We are always encouraged seeing how The War changes lives.
